Trebro Unveils New Automatic Stacking Slab Harvester

Trebro Manufacturing, Inc. has introduced the first-ever automatic stacking slab harvester. This new machine, which Trebro describes as "the future of sod harvesting equipment", was demonstrated at the Florida Sod Growers Cooperative Field Day in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on April 29. Several hundred turfgrass producers, turf industry professionals, vendor representatives and others were on hand to observe the harvester in action. Trebro reports that the new machine incorporates the proven technology of their AutoStack and HarveStack machines. Additional features include excellent flotation and maneuverability, a floating cutting head with adjustable down pressure, and an air conditioned cab. According to Trebro, the machine represents new sod harvesting technology that will significantly reduce farm labor requirements.
