TPI Summer Convention, July 2007

Trebro Manufacturing would like to thank those of you who joined us at this years TPI Convention and Field Day in Madison, Wisconsin. We kicked the week off by hosting the Early Bird Reception where a large array of hors d'oerves and beverages were served. This was a nice opportunity to catch up with people in the industry who we have not talked to in a while and get acquainted with new turfproducers who are new to the industry. Trebro was particularly excited to announce our new partnership with Trimax Mowing Systems. We are looking forward to representing their mowers in the United States and Canada. As the week moved forward we participated in the Family Fun Night by hosting the dunk tank where with the help of some TPI members we raised $2,680.00 that was donated to the Lawn Institute. A good time was had by all, even Gerry Brouwer who graciously volunteered to be dunked for a generous donation to the association. Thank you Gerry! The field day itself had a huge turn out where the university fields were crawling with sod farm owners, vendors and just interested spectators. Trebro was pleased to see turfgrass producers from Austria, Australia, Canada, England, Korea, New Zealand, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Russia, South Africa, Sweden and the Ukraine. The equipment demonstrations started mid-morning and did not stop until late afternoon. We spent the day providing demonstrations on our brand new machine the ShortCut. Along with the ShortCut we also demonstrated the AutoSlab II and the M-101 Handstack Harvester which were both new to the market this year. We also had our tried-and-true HarveStack, AutoStack and QuadLift machines that impressed both new and old turfgrass producers. This is a very exciting time for Trebro Manufacturing. With our new partnership with Trimax and the introduction of 3 new machines to our industry leading line-up we are looking forward to the 2008 year and what that might bring for both Trebro Manufacturing and the turfgrass industry.
